Expert feedback, stage 3

The development work made throughout the competition is consistent and well executed. Though there are many features to this device, the food stock management is at the core and thus addresses an important food waste issue in a way that is relevant, helpful and appealing to the consumer. Good luck in answering the brief at the next stage!

Expert feedback, stage 2

The development work for this concept is well thought through and structured and the product relevance is now also clearer. In the visual development stage you can go into more detail when it comes to the product design details , but also when it comes to the interaction flow of the different service elements.

Final Touch & food

Today is the last day for the submission and I am fully immersed fixing my panels, trying to show clearly my concept, also I am asking relatives and friends about his impressions without knowing about the project.

But the hard work at the end is satisfied and I am happy how the project is going.

Also i would like to show and important thing in my project. And it is the management that Kitchen Hub does with your food. Its based in USA Agriculture Department (ref) and Harvard Studies(ref) .

It is the nutritional plate, and replace the nutrition pyramid. This image shows the percentage of types of food that you should eat to have a healthy.

The plate is split into four sections, for fruit, vegetables, grains and protein. Two smaller circles sits beside it for dairy products and healthy oils. It will show your average alimentation to fit your diet.
Mainly half of the diet are vegetables and fruits and the other half grain and protein, like meat or fish. This case shows the Harvard’s Healthy Eating Guide (ref)

Now, time for lunch!

Questions from the floor ?

This are some of the questions i have done to myself and people around me during the brainstorming stage. Lets try to figure it out an answer!

1-What should be Kitchen Hub?

A solution that helps managing the food consumption in a simple and functional way. Which mission is to decrease the food waste.

thinking

Was a long weekend to think about my project and to analyse a possible future scenario.

Its a fact that waste food is going to be more and more important in the coming years and the aim to create products to help solve it, is very important.

But related to the consumer and the interaction with the “service” is hard to find. We need to do one’s bit to get a better future.

New entries this week.
